In 1992, Montblanc established the Fondation d'Entreprise Montblanc de la Culture, which in turn created the Montblanc Art Patronage Award. Outstanding art patrons whose personal commitment and achievements deserve wider recognition are honoured every year.
In connection with the annual Montblanc Art Patronage Award, Montblanc produces a Limited Edition which pays tribute to historic patrons of art. These meticulously hand-crafted writing instruments are made available in spring every year limited to 4810 pieces, or in the even more prestigious and valued exclusive Limited Edition of only 888 pieces world-wide.
